Jeremiah

Jeremiah Sutton is 7 years old.  He has been performing in church plays and programs since he was 3 years of age. He has also served as a soloist in several children choir church events.  Jeremiah has a keen ability to memorize and recite lengthy passages, and enjoys using his talent and applies it to theatre.  Jeremiah is also an artist and enjoys creating animals and abstract art. He is well-spoken and articulate, and believes that acting is a way to connect with people and entertain. 

Zoe

M. Zoe Ingram has been performing for local audiences for the last five years, which include performances at The Pumpkin Theatre and Center Stage.  Zoe is a member of the Peabody Children’s Chorus.  She enjoys singing, creative writing and cheerleading.  She would like to thank her family, friends and Project Praise Kids for their support.

Troy

Troy Jacobs is happy to be a part of Project Praise Kids. He is an honor student at Sudbrook Middle Magnet School, and is so full of energy.

Cristen

Cristen Gabrielle Hall began performing at the age of 2 on the stage of her church. Some of her early experiences include singing with the Maryland Children’s Choir where she was a part of a live recording, appeared on WMAR TV’s Gospel Grace, and was in an Antwerpen Nissan commercial. Currently Cristen is a 10th grade honor student at Towson High School who loves to be in front of an audience. Cristen has appeared on the stages of various theatres in the Baltimore/DC Metropolitan area including Capital Fringe Festival (DC), Oregon Ridge Dinner Theatre (Cockeysville), Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre (Frederick), Toby’s Dinner Theatre (Baltimore and Columbia), as well as local community theatre, school and church plays. Some of her credits include, Annie, The King and I, South Pacific, Little Women, and Hairspray to name a few. When she is out of the spotlight, Cristen likes to play the clarinet or relax and read a good book. Cristen loves to perform and she is delighted to participate with Project Praise Kids. 

Jonah

Jonah  Askew has always had a love for music. At the young age of two, Jonah would sing church songs with his family members. He could be found creating praise dances in the living room and turning any piece of furniture into a drum or piano. Jonah is now a seventh grade honor roll student.. He has starred in many plays and productions such as “Holy Musical Batman”, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,”  and “Moses the Deliverer”. Any given Sunday, one can find Jonah praising the Lord through music and song at the Mount Moriah Baptist Church where he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at the age of six. Jonah aspires to attend college on a full scholarship and to share his gift of music to lead others to Jesus Christ.

 

Genesis

Genesis Sutton is 9 years old. She has been performing theatrically and as a soloist for churches and local audiences since she was 2 years old. She has won awards in oratory contests, participated in lead roles in plays, and enjoys spreading joy and love through her talents of  acting, dancing, singing, and modeling. Genesis works well individually and is a team player. Genesis welcomes new challenges and opportunities to learn. 

Jonathan

Jonathan Andre Hall is a 7th grade Theatre Arts honor student at Sudbrook Magnet Middle School. He got his start in acting in church at a young age. One of his early experiences was to perform with the Kinderman where he appeared on The Kinderman Show on WMAR TV.  Later Jonathan went on to perform in community theatre in shows such as The Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland and numerous church and school plays. In addition to acting Jonathan also sings and plays the saxophone. Currently he sings with the Voices of Sudbrook and plays in Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band. He performs with these groups at his school, at surrounding schools and at various competitions including “Music in the Parks” sponsored by Hersheypark. At church Jonathan participates with “Speechless Praise” mime group and the Steppers. When he’s not performing, Jonathan enjoys football, baseball, golf and swimming. Jonathan is grateful to be a part of this Project Praise Kids event.

 

Lakira

LaKira Abraham is 16 years old. She attends Edmondson High School. She currently interns with a local television station in Baltimore. She loves to cook for family and friends, and loves to be creative. She's very excited about being in Project Praise Kids, and loves to perform.

DaVaughn

DaVaughn is 9 years old, and he is in the 4th grade. He sttends Mary Ann Winterling Elementary. He loves football. Typicalliy, you can find him enjoying and expanding his mind by playing his PlayStation. He's an active choir member and loves to sing. He is an usher and is a well mannered young man.

Gabby

Gabrielle Wilson has never performed before this production and is excited to make her grand entrance into theatre and arts! A true entertainer since birth, Gabrielle loves to sing, dance and "ham it up" for her family and friends.  She is grateful for the opportunity and hopes to share her gifts in many more  productions.

Jamirson

Jamirson was born in Baltimore, MD.  He is an only child and has an imagination out of this world. Jamirson is an extremely bright and talented 6 Year old who has been in the music/entertainment world since birth. He attends private school where he has excelled a grade above his level and learns Spanish and Chinese while reading on a 3rd grade level. Jamirson’s aspiration and talents are playing the drums, acting, professional wrestling and he really enjoys playing basketball and football. He has had several local and state wide performances in the world of acting and music.  Moreover, Jamirson loves the Lord and he learns the word of God in Sunday School while also being active in the Children's Youth & Music Ministry in his church. He is an all American Boy!
